Our Philosophy
It's all about the 'Learner'!
'our desire is to awaken learners to their potential so that they can learn, develop and grow in competence confidently'
We recognise that there are too many people who have not enjoyed their learning and educational experience; learning should be enjoyable and reflected on with positive feelings, it should be NOT be laborious, or daunting. While we cannot re-enact previous experience, we can offer you something different at the Distinctly Different Learning Centre where we say and mean that we are a 'Learner' centred organisation.
We have and maintain very high standards of delivery, and we set targets which we work towards, which are not externally imposed, but rather mutually developed and agreed between the 'Learner' and us. In addition, we recognise that life circumstances are subject to change, which can have a serious bearing on any learner. Once we are informed we set up a 'flexible study meeting' so that wherever required and practical, we can offer flexibility to our learners.
Finally, in recognition of how important the 'facilitator' is to learning, we offer learners the support and experience of a team of trained and qualified practitioners who are passionate about facilitating development
and that will work with you while you are learning with us.
